The main window shows everything needed to confirm at a glance that recording is healthy.

Reading the display
The meter should respond continuously whenever audio reaches the selected source. Peaks approaching 0 dBFS may clip, while a meter that never moves usually indicates an incorrect source, muted device or routing problem. For unattended operation, establish a normal level range for the station and investigate significant changes.
The Today timeline provides an at-a-glance view of the day. In automatic mode, use it with the REC and AUTO indicators to confirm whether BroadcastLogger is waiting for a scheduled period or is actively recording.
OPERATIONAL CHECK: The event log is the first place to look when a recording does not start, a file cannot be created or the application reports an audio-device problem.
