Settings is divided into panels. Each is covered in detail in its own section of this documentation.
| Panel | Purpose |

| Recording source | Choose capture type and the Windows device to record. |
| Recording format | Select codec, sample rate, bit rate and mono/stereo channels. |
| Output | Choose folder, filename pattern, sequence value and segment behaviour. |
| Auto delete | Remove recordings older than the selected number of days. |
| Playback device | Choose where recordings from Archive will be heard. |
| Alerts | Configure silence detection and SMTP email delivery. |
| General | Control Windows startup, closing, taskbar, recovery and language. |
SAVE CHANGES: Choose OK to apply the configuration. Choose Cancel to close Settings without applying the changes made during that visit.
